My story

Hi, I am Tim Bentley, owner of Coastal Camera Repairs. I am dedicated to the restoration, servicing and repair of Photographic Equipment. I have a long history of conducting Camera Repairs, working and training in Kent, England before opening Coastal Camera Repairs, in Gosford, 1986. I see this craft as an ability to create future memories for people and I have a genuine desire to exceed expectations.

My history

I began working casually in a Camera Shop when I was still at school, progressed to working for repair firms in Sydney and ultimately opening a Retail/Repair Camera Store in Gosford in the mid 1990's. I left the industry in 2009, working in Corporate Sectors just as digital cameras started to wipe out traditional film photography. Noticing a resurgence of film in the last 5 years or so, I resigned my corporate life and re opened Coastal Camera Repairs.

Each step has reinforced my core belief in the power of  integrity. We're passionate about what we do, and we're excited to share our story with you.
